Miscellaneous Thailand Pictures
It's possible that some of these pictures will end up on other pages later on.

Here is Steve holding up a postcard at the location where the postcard picture was taken. The real picture shows much more detail. It just plain doesn't look as good on my web page.

Here's me and a couple of other tourists on and elephant trek. If I remember correctly these guys were pretty cool. I don't remember their names though.

The picture on the left is (left to right) Yok, Me, Joy, Bpoo. The picture on the right is of the same girls. They were great. Bpoo was one of the nicest coolest people I met in Thailand. The last I knew she is married. I really wanted to go to the wedding, but time, money and the circumstances of that point of my life wouldn't permit. I really need to get in touch with them and find out how they are all doing.

Here's the picture on the front page of the site. The print version of this picture is much better but still pretty grainy. I like it anyway though. Steve is on the left and I am on the right. This picture was taken at one of the old ruined temples. There are a lot of old temple sites in Thailand. Many of them are located in what I consider some of the most beautiful spots in the world.
Here's me with the postcard. I forget which one of the two postcard pictures were taken first. In this picture the postcard is easier to see. Steve is a better photographer than I am. he took some pretty good pictures on the trip. I actually wish we had taken more. There was one place in particular that I wish we had taken pictures of. It was a place that we were taken too on a canoe tour of some of the caves in the small islands around Phuket. There was one particular island that had a hollow center. The center of the island could only be gotten to by going through a cave, that was only passable at low tide otherwise the cave was underwater. Coming out of the cave you would see the islands secret. At the center of the island was a hidden lagoon. It was amazing, a place that a picture probably would not have done justice to, but we never took the camera in there to see. I guess you had to be there...
